Climate Justice Panel

There are several new studies exploring the link between social media and public awareness of climate change. As I was at the event I had no idea how important these questions were.  As for the first question “The climate change help in the media or literature?”. I feel like we should all  keep in mind that social media can raise awareness of climate change issues, but it can also lead to opinion-dominated ideologies and amplifications.

Social media also appears to have played an important role in supporting communication between people, including disseminating knowledge about the dangers of climate change. In climate change there have been many actions that have  increased, and now the message can raise awareness and reach policy makers. Because literature aims to capture and convey to others the sense of its unique environment, to better understand why landscapes vary from place to place, and to convey and convey our knowledge. It has a long relationship with the climate. Environmental maintenance. To prepare for the future, it is important to understand how the climate is changing. Studying the climate will help predict how much rain will fall next winter, or how much sea level will rise due to warmer sea temperatures.

At the event I noticed that they stated that the “Media is now framing climate change as justice” The mass media plays an important role in  opinion formation (Hasebrink, 2016). By selecting what is news and  presenting the news in a particular way, the mass media not only sets the agenda for what we think, but also influences our thinking on a particular topic. (McCombs and Shaw, 1972). Framing theory states that "some aspects of  perceived reality are more prominent in communication texts "(Entman, 1993: 51). During the framing process, certain aspects of the problem are highlighted and explicitly or implicitly linked to provide the recipient with an interpretation of the problem, its cause,  moral assessment, and its solution (Kühne,). 2013; Schenk, 2007; Scheufele, 2003). A lot of what we see in media and literature gravitate to apocalyptic stories in 2012. Today, people use social media  to support environmental campaigns and  connect people locally and globally on  environmental issues, large and small. In addition, the general public can track the quality of the surrounding air, water and climate  and  share that data with others. Social media has clearly played an important role in helping people communicate, including disseminating knowledge about the dangers of climate change. As climate change and the  number of actions increase, the message can raise awareness and reach policy makers. Therefore, social media has the potential to give us hope for a future fight against climate change. Therefore, social media has the ability to generate complex and dangerous beliefs. Freely accessible content often utilizes algorithms that can spread fake or inaccurate news virally.

The second question states that “How do we invite all these conversations in literature and media?”. I feel like we invite these conventions into literature and media by having communication. At the event, they talked about "communication science". Scientists often communicate their findings in three common ways. One is to publish the findings in a peer-reviewed journal that can be created by other scientists. Second, they present their findings at national and international conferences where other scientists can hear the presentation. Facts and scientific evidence should inform public decision making wherever possible.

Therefore, science communication is important. Many of these activities directly or indirectly emphasize the importance of scientific evidence, and therefore the importance of the scientific system that produces that evidence. If people prefer to write it first before discussing it, it gives a clear head about how they say it and they can also write it down to  have something to look back at if they forget. Being able to communicate through different industries in an inclusive way is very important because you will bring powerful conversation, respectful thoughts to others, permitting anyone to make a contribution to various views and senses like they belong. Everything starts to feel normal since we always see stuff, so that can be a reason some people try not to  have discussions about the invitation of  all these conversations in literature and media. A lot can get better when it comes to social activism because it will help with the conversation, build a stronger bond with your communicatie.

The media coverage of climate change is an important issue because the media has a climate change that is connected to global warming that has  increased in  the last few decades and  this trend is driven by anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gasses. It is also definitely more populations around the world that suffer from climate change more because they are using the things that climate change has control over. Words have the energy and power  to help heal,  hurt, hurt, be humble, and humiliate. Bring the community together. Words have a dramatic impact on what we know, how we interact with people, and the decisions we ultimately make. Words can affect us, inspire us, and make us cry just as easily. Words change our relationships, our actions, our entire belief system, and even our business. If you don't say the correct thing it can lead to miscommunication. Somethings I learned at this event first was that our generation will be the one to help change climate change and my second was the Biggest way would be voting for policy change in climate change for digital media and my last was Anybody can help with climate change.

Climate justice helps to reflect in the context the significant impacts of climate change that we are already experiencing today. It is clear that the effects of climate change are experienced very differently between middle-income households in  developed countries and poor migrants in developing countries. Climate change not only affects forests, coral reefs and even distant people, but it also affects us all. From extreme weather to rising food prices, reduced recreation and reduced opportunities to enjoy nature, people around the world will feel the effects of climate change.
