Reggie Brown  came up with a name for the app: Picaboo, a riff on the childhood game Peek-a-boo. Evan designed the app’s interface, digitally mocking up what it would look like and how users would interact with it (Gallagher, 2018).

 When you appear in, create, upload, post, or send Public Content (including your Bitmoji), you also grant Snap, our affiliates, other users of the Services, and our business partners an unrestricted, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, and perpetual right and license to use the name, likeness, and voice, of anyone featured in your Public Content for commercial and noncommercial purposes. This means, among other things, that you will not be entitled to any compensation if your content, videos, photos, sound recordings, musical compositions, name, likeness, or voice are used by us, our affiliates, users of the Services, or our business partners. Finally, you need to follow the steps to delete your account. To delete an account, that is, if you are using Android or web, you need to go to the first account portal and enter the username and password of the account you want to delete. Next, after completing the steps to delete your account, you must first deactivate your account for 30 days. While your account is disabled, your friends will not be able to contact or interact with you on Snapchat. Third, you have to wait another 30 days, and your account will be permanently deleted. This means that accounts, account settings, friends, snaps, chats, stories, device data, and location data in the main user database will be deleted. Fourth, Snapchat stores some personal information for specific legal, security, and business purposes.
