Today  I will be  discussing the minimum wage in various regions of the United States. Let me tell you a fun story. I will discuss the minimum wage in various regions of the United States today on my blog. I was sitting down one day to scroll through Instagram, and as I was doing so, I thought, "I'll talk to my mom." My mom told me that the minimum wage was going up in Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia, where it was $7.25. Still, the shocking thing was that everyone else's minimum wage was always very high, no matter what. After seeing him, I decided to do some more research. From 1990 to 2009, the minimum wage in the United States was 380 dollars, so we have always been getting a lower minimum wage because of businesses and everything the government has done. I feel like the United States should get a little more credit for what they have been doing and what it would try to do with black-owned businesses and other people who have been in companies. Looking at the information that I got from 1990 to 2009 to two today, If our minimum wage is so low that many people do not want to work, how do you expect us to be able to provide for our families and businesses so they can purchase food?

An employee is entitled to the higher of the two minimum wages when subject to state and federal minimum wage laws. During a pandemic-driven labor shortage, the Division of the Budget's statutorily required report revealed evidence of pressure for wage increases. On Long Island and Westchester, the president raised the minimum wage to $15 per hour on December 31, 2021, the same as the $15 per hour previously established in New York City. The minimum wage in New York varies based on your company's location and size. The following is a brief breakdown of the minimum salary for non-tip workers: Companies in New York City (NYC) with fewer than ten employees: On 12/31/2021 if people paid businesses in New York City with 11 or more employees $15 an hour.  Companies of all sizes with operations in Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $15.The remainder of the state of New York: The majority of New Jerseyans earn less than the state's minimum wage of $14.13 per hour as of December 31, 2022, and it goes into effect on January 1, 2023. The average weekly wage for a worker in the United States is $984, but salary varies widely depending on job type, education level, and social and economic conditions. The national annual wage for a worker who works 52 weeks per year is $51,168, up 5.1% from the previous year. I am so tired of it because ever since I started working at 16, this has always been a problem like it. Was it worth it anyway trying to help me do so much at the job that wasn't in my position description? I was only getting paid 725 to the point where I had to try to take a minute and do something about it because they would've thought it was OK.
