Good Afternoon Class Deena Winston speaking
In Today's blog, I will be working on a blog on my introduction to the new media blog page. I want it to see if you guys can connect any of my content facts about Jane Addams to any topics that are on my blog based on social media and from the text in class. Jane Addams was the one who protected the people around her in the war. Here is some more history about Ms. Addams. She was best known for her work in the social settlement movement radical arm of the progressive movement. Many people have embraced the idea that they have an important role when choosing who they can live around.
The field of American higher education today (Pg 249) has become very easy in today's world. There have been 30% of women who are more educated than their husbands. There have also been about 22 % of women that are now more educated than men. Men are currently on a list of 18 qualifications because they want to reduce their education. Many people that are married between a male and a college-educated female are safer and very helpful for the relationships they should each have very middle class incomes. It is so much better than any other marriage because it will need lots of work. There is about 30% of the US population for college-educated women that will get the right help they need.
The Group (p. 105) is shown in Adam's work with other reform groups towards goals such as First Juvenile Justice, Nagaya Regulations, Eight Hours of Work for Women, Factory Inspections, and Labor Compensation. She advocated research on the causes of poverty and crime and advocated women's suffrage. In the text, this is relevant to interest groups as it is a sociologically real group that handles not only the common interest groups, but also the structural goals of individual interest groups.
Jane Addams wanted to help those who live in such slums. Jane Addams traveled to Europe in the 1880s. During her stay in London, she visited a residential complex called Toynbee Hall. Settlement houses were created to provide community services to alleviate urban problems such as poverty. Adams was Vice President of the Association from 1911 to 1914. When the Nineteenth Amendment was passed in 1920 and women were given the right to vote, Adams became a member of the Women's Voters' Federation, helping women to be informed about candidates and voting issues. I did. Starting with the theory of democracy, Adams did not believe that democracy consisted of checking ballot boxes every few years. In order to solve them and strengthen democracy, we needed to connect with different types of people who share the same society.
Adams, the theories have experiences. Adams was a minority among philosophical or feminist colleagues who believed that working-class migrant women should not only gain a say, but also contribute something important to the community of ideas. Being gender-based, I posted to Jane Addams about gender operations and gender inequality. The feminist theory of textbooks describes a generalization of a system of broad ideas about social life in human experience as developed from a female perspective, where the female-centered and female situation in society is attempted. is. Do you explain how to do so? Women have their own perspective, and women will take so many different ways to express their thoughts. Jane Addams was a feminist sociological theorist who sought change in her community by leading 4,444 different sociological studies. The feminist comes from the knowledge within a person and can be far away from the person. There are three levels of color: feminist females, postcolonial females, workers and lesbians.
This connected to Jane Adams in the way of her movements for women. She fought for women's rights and continued to do so until change was made. The fact that woman are now exceeding mean in careers, education etc. just goes to show her contribution to society.
ReplyDeleteI believe her enthusiasm is admirable and her achievements can be inspirational

ReplyDeleteI loved the engaged discussion around the contribution of Jane Addams. She is a luminary in the field of social work and gender equality.
ReplyDeleteOverall, its great and different than everyone else. It talks about the fields that Jane Adams had worked in and how her work has inspired the present that we have today. It mentions the theories that she had about women having disadvantage in many areas from education to finances which today, is very different than during her time of living.
